DISCOVER LETCHER CAMPAIGN

In 2024 Letcher County Tourism will be focusing in on different topics of our area to showcase and highlight all we have to offer and to promote our local treasures. We have already kicked off the first section of our campaign, which features artistic identities of Letcher County. Every week we will be spotlighting different artist and artistic influences we have in our area on our Facebook and Instagram page. This includes artist, photographers, musicians, authors, community centers and groups, events, etc. Stick around and give us a follow to see what topics we will be doing next!

Our second area of focus will be centered around our trails. We will highlight all the trails we have here in Letcher County from walking, hiking, biking, ATV, equine, and more! We will release maps, videos, photos, history of trails, etc. Excited for everyone to learn what we have to offer!

There are so many things we love about crisp fall months in Letcher County. The nice weather, beautiful foliage, wildlife activity, the list goes on. Above all, we love that the fall months bring people home to the mountains. They come to visit with their loved ones, see the colors dance across the mountains, enjoy the taste of comfort, and experience a good helping of southern hospitality.

There are many events that take place this time of year that make for the perfect opportunity to join us in taking advantage of all that Letcher County has to offer. We will now be highlighting our favorite things to do in Letcher County, events and festivals taking place, and where you can stay to make your homecoming trip a memorable one.
